Makerspace
Our collaborative Makerspace offers a range of maker equipment for children, adults, and entrepreneurs to utilize free of charge. Bring your ideas to life and walk away with a finished project!
The library offers resources for learning how to use each of the machines. While we can provide small amounts of material for personal projects, we strongly recommend bringing your own materials to achieve your desired project outcomes.
We also host a variety of classes each month! All supplies are provided for each class. You can register for our Makerspace classes online. Due to high demand, we ask that patrons only register for one class per month.
Our Makerspace is open 1:00pm – 4:00pm every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday and 1:00pm – 7:00pm every Thursday. Patrons must be 10-years-old or accompanied by an adult to use the Makerspace.
Makers are limited to 1-2 projects and 1 Glowforge project per visit. If there is high demand for the Makerspace, projects may be limited in quantity and time.
Makers are limited to 60 minutes on the computer, 20 minutes for design time, and 30 minutes for project run time.
Makers are limited to one 3D printing project at a time, with each project requiring less than 10 hours to print. New print requests can only be made after previous prints are completed. Printed projects will use available colors at the time of printing.
